Tamkang University offers several compressively database to graduate students in support his/her researches. They are including Thomas Reuter Datastream, S&P ExecuComp database, Mergent Fixed Income Securities Database (FISD), Taiwan Economic Journal (TEJ) database, and others.

 

Thomas Reuter Datastream

Datastream is a powerful financial time series database that enables you to explore relationships and trends, perform correlations, generate and test investment and trading ideas and develop view points on the market.

 

S&P ExecuComp database

Standard & Poor’s ExecuComp provides executive compensation data on top executives' salary, bonus, and stock option data since 1992. The universe of firms cover the S&P 1500.

 

Mergent Fixed Income Securities Database (FISD)

FISD for academia is a comprehensive database of publicly offered U.S. bonds. FISD contains issue details on over 140,000 corporate, corporate MTN (medium term note), supranational, U.S. Agency, and U.S. Treasury debt securities and includes more than 550 data items. FISD provides details on debt issues and the issuers, as well as transactions by insurance companies. It is used to research market trends, deal structures, issuer capital structures and other areas of fixed income debt research.

 

 

Taiwan Economic Journal (TEJ) database

The mission of TEJ is to provide the most accurate and reliable data on companies throughout Asia.
